~These training tips are
suggestions from Solmyr and Soulreaver.
They’ve been around forever so I value and respect their opinions, and
you should as well. Keep in mind, that
these are only suggestions. Ultimately,
you have to decide what it is that you want to do when you roll your healie and
as you grow. My opinion varies slightly
with theirs, but that always makes for an interesting guild.

Listed first is the number of
times you should train that skill per level; Second is the skill you should
train; In parenthesis is the total training points it’ll cost.
You will need At least 34 tps.
to be successful…

First off is the roll.
When rolling your character, try
for something like this: 12 12 18 17 16 16.
Explanation:
·
Strength, for basic climb,
jump and higher weapons % for extra defense as well as better enc, but 12 str
isn't really needed, 10 would do but getting some str would be beneficial.
·
Agility you need of course,
19 would be great, but it is too hard of a roll to fit. With 18, it is still decent enough.
·
Dexterity for a magic user,
even without weapons, is VERY IMPORTANT.
It raises your max damage with spells, stun, bleed more often, and your
damage will be more consistent.
·
Intelligence, at least 16
is enough - it affects lost concentration and a few skills, but I feel wisdom
is more important.
·
Wisdom affects your
research more than intel (may not show in %, but you get better luck from what
I’ve seen) and it helps you in a few key skills such as hide. Also helps you stay hidden.
The training:
When your climb and jump have
reached at least 150%+ naked, you can use those for your weapons skills. We maybe magic based, but we still need
weapons for defense. It may not be as
important as a weapon using necro, but it is important enough. You could sacrifice your evade 2nd train for
weapons, but I suggest that you alter hide and sneak and lose the climb/jump
trains (only after 150% do you try this method). This way, we do not lose our core training, but we lose some
skills that are high enough. Even with
low str, training weapons like a few times from the start makes us gain 4% each
train until 11th level train.
